The enthusiasm on the toddlers face was climactic. As if they had discovered a treasure but unaware how to attain, the infants eyes darted from the target to these strange things that seemed to help move them ever closer. But not so fast! these things were not so simple... they seemed to need one another to work together and moving each took a lot of singular focus! Moment by moment experiments were showing utter failures and dramatic successes so quickly it was hard to remember their sequence. All with a still small voice not heard by the ear "Master the sequence... conquer the world." Quietly and patiently ever watching, mother was there to ensure these experiments kept danger at bay until babe was able to navigate them with the knowing.
Inspiration: Vintage Nintendo video game Marble Madness in which inverted controls and presented obstacle courses stimulating foreign experiences and challenging players to navigate to a goal. In recent years the science of neuroplasticity has discovered these types of activities create new paths in the brain and foster or improve learning and facilitate creativity.
