In 2016 a modern Master and Instructor Frank Covino passed. His legacy quietly awaits attention and discovery.
Upon his passing, to pay homage in remembrance, “little Frank” (Tinker) used acrylics and videos to paint with the Maestro one more time. He chose to use the face of his late mentors masterpiece, to honor his mentor and compliment a ministry through a small rendition.
Return of the Lamb… as a Lion is a masterpiece of the late Modern Master Frank Covino. .
The Lamb and The Lion:
The Lamb represents Jesus Christ’s first coming, marked by innocence, sacrifice, and humility. This image aligns with his role as the “Lamb of God,” who was sacrificed to take away the sins of the world.
The Lion, however, symbolizes Christ’s prophesied Second Coming, where he returns in power and glory, symbolized by the “Lion of the Tribe of Judah.” This lion symbolizes strength, majesty, and righteousness.
